This new fund is being created with local people, led by local ambition, and shaped by the future people want to see for this town. It starts with £20 million through Pride in Place funding, with the ambition to back local ideas, support lasting change, and attract more investment over time.
It has grown out of the conversations, ideas and energy that people across Grimsby have already brought to the Grimsby Together process and beyond.
There will be lots of ways to get involved as this develops.
How To Have Your Say
We’re looking for a name that people feel proud of. Something that reflects the community behind it and has room to grow with the ambition of the area over time.
We’ve set up a simple online space to help build consensus, where you can react to some current ideas, suggest your own, and share what feels right to you. It only takes a few minutes.
We’re keeping this stage short and focused from 1st April – 7th April so people can have their say now, while we keep moving at pace to get the fund up and running. Your input will play an important role in shaping the name and help to create a clear shortlist of the ideas that people connect with most strongly. These will then be discussed further with the Grimsby Together sub-group.
